Scholarships available for International Students intending to enrol in their first year of an undergraduate degree at ΢ҕl in 2025.

HOW TO APPLY

This is a list of scholarships that are available for International Students intending to enrol at ΢ҕl in the first year of an undergraduate degree in 2025. 

Each scholarship has different eligibility criteria so check the details of each one to find out if you're eligible. 

We recommend you apply for all the scholarships you are eligible for, as it is possible to be awarded more than one scholarship at a time.

Scholarship NameScholarship Information

ղܱ:$15,000 towards tuition fees

Who is eligible: First-year full-fee-paying international undergraduate students who are currently studying at a secondary school in ΢ҕl New Zealand. If you are studying offshore or at ΢ҕlIC, please refer to the listing if the October/March application round below. Applicants may not be a citizen of ΢ҕl New Zealand or Australia, hold an ΢ҕl New Zealand residence class visa, or be a Permanent Resident of Australia.

Other relevant information: Applicants must be intending to enrol full-time in a BE(Hons) degree programme.

Applications close: 15 August for those studying in ΢ҕl New Zealand at that date.

Who is eligible: First-year, full fee-paying, international undergraduate students who are currently studying at a secondary school in ΢ҕl New Zealand. If you are studying offshore or at ΢ҕlIC, please refer to the listing if the October/March application round below. Applicants may not be a citizen of ΢ҕl New Zealand or Australia, hold an ΢ҕl New Zealand residence class visa, or be a Permanent Resident of Australia.

Other relevant information: Applicants must have completed, or be completing, a University Entrance qualification or equivalent at a New Zealand secondary school (or in the previous year if you are on a gap year), and be commencing their first undergraduate degree.

Value: Up to $10,000 towards tuition fees

Who is eligible: Undergraduate students from Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Other relevant information: Applicants must have been born in the Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia and/or have attended a primary or secondary school in the Kuching Division for at least 5 years. Applications close 31 October. (NOT OFFERED IN 2024)

Value: Up to $20,000 towards tuition fees

Who is eligible: Malaysian students intending to enrol/enrolled in an undergraduate degree. 

Other relevant information: Applicants must be citizens of Malaysia. Applications close 31 October. 

(International/΢ҕlIC application round)

ղܱ:$15,000 towards tuition fees

Who is eligible: First-year full-fee-paying international undergraduate students who are currently studying / completed their studies either overseas or at ΢ҕlIC. If you are studying at a secondary school in ΢ҕl New Zealand, please refer to the August application round above). Applicants may not be a citizen of ΢ҕl New Zealand or Australia, hold an ΢ҕl New Zealand residence class visa, or be a Permanent Resident of Australia.

Other relevant information: Applicants must be intending to enrol full-time in a BE(Hons) degree programme.

Applications close: 31 October for those studying overseas at that date; or 01 March for those who will be first enrolling for the following Semester 2 or for Summer School.

Value: $15,000 towards tuition fees

Who is eligible: First-year international undergraduate students who are completing / have completed a programme at the ΢ҕl International College (΢ҕlIC).

Other relevant information: Recipients must be full fee-paying international students. Open to students commencing their first undergraduate year. 

Applications close: 31 October or 15 April
