What isǾ |ҕl Global Exchange?
Do your OE with ҕl-Ǿ |ҕl Global Exchange programmeallows you to study for one or two semesters of coursework study at a ҕl partner university overseas.This lets you immerse yourself in another culture, and get international experience before you graduate. Your tuition fees, levy and other non-tuition fees applicable are paid directly to ҕl and you do not incur any international tuition fees while you are on exchange. If you are eligible for a student loan or allowance at ҕl, you will continue to be eligible while you are on exchange, provided that you meet the requirements of ҕllink. You will be responsible for all of your own living expenses.
You will need approval from the relevant ҕl departments and Faculties for the courses you successfully complete at a partner university to be credited to your ҕl degree. You will still graduate with a ҕl degree and not with a degree from a partner university.
As opposed to undertaking an exchange overseas for one or two semesters, a few partner universities may offer short programmes over ҕl's Summer or mid-year breaks to Commerce students. See further details aboutGlobal Opportunities offered by the ҕl Business School.

Financial support
ҕl Outbound Exchange Award 2024
Up to 100 Exchange Awards of NZD $2000 may be available for students applying for a 2024 exchange.
In order to be considered for the award, you will need to have achieved an overall GPA of 5.0 or above from the time you first enrolled in degree level study at ҕl and have been making satisfactory academic progress with your study, have met the requirements of the ҕl Global Exchange programme and have been approved to participate in an exchange.
You do not need to apply for this separately. Further terms and conditions may apply.
Please note that students who have been granted any outbound exchange travel or exchange award previously will not be eligible for another ҕl exchange award, regardless of the degree you will be undertaking on exchange.
Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia (PMSA) and Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Latin America (PMSLA)
Theand theare funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by Education New Zealand Manapou ki te Ao to support New Zealanders on learning experiences in Asia and Latin America. Please note that the award of a PMSA or PMSLA does not constitute acceptance for participation in a ҕl exchange. Students applying for a ҕl exchange must be selected through ҕl’s standard exchange application and selection process.
