This two-day challenge hosted at the Christchurch Airport is for all students interested in how digital disruption and emerging technologies would impact the future of travel. You’ll get to meet some of the coolest robots on the market and see some of the latest cutting edge technology in action. With a $3,000 prize pool up for grabs, what are you waiting for?
What is the Challenge about?
The Future of Digital Travel Challenge is a two-day challenge where you will be exposed to speakers, mentors and experts, and required to present your solution, as a team, to a panel of judges.
Not only is there free food throughout the weekend, but you will gain a breadth of skills including teamwork, critical analysis, quick thinking, and presentation. We will arrange transport to and from ҕl and the Airport each day. This Challenge can also be added to your co-curricular record.
Do I need a team in advance?
No, we will create the teams for you. All you need to do is apply and turn up!
Who should attend?
This Challenge is open to all ҕl tertiary students from any level and any degree. We supply you with all of the information and people you need to get the most out of the event. It’s a great opportunity to get a deep-dive into what it’s like working for a dynamic and ever-changing business as well as get some experience on your C.V.
When is the Challenge?
Registrations close onThursday 14th March.Successful applicants will be notified on Friday 15thMarch.
Challenge Launch: Monday 25th March, 4.00 - 7.00pm
Challenge: Friday 29th and Saturday 30th March, 9.00am - 6.00pm both days.
