΢ҕl Business School named Education Partner of the Year at 2019 MYOB Partner Awards

MYOB announced the ΢ҕl Business School as the recipient of the Education Partner of the Year at its 11th annual Australia and New Zealand Partner Connect Gala Dinner on 23 August in Melbourne.

The industry-leading awards were rigorously reviewed by a judging panel including MYOB’s Senior Leadership Team and respected industry professionals and business leaders from Smiling Mind, ANZ, OnDeck and Netball New Zealand.

MYOB’s General Manager of Product and 2019 Partner Awards judge, David Weickhardt, said the quality of the award candidates was outstanding.

“The recipients of the 2019 Partner Awards present an incredible cross-section of partners, practices and individuals who are all operating at the pinnacle of their field, setting a fantastic example for their peers and shaping a stronger future for the Accounting industry. We’re honoured to have them as part of our community,” Mr Weickhardt said.

MYOB Education Manager Shailan Patel said theEducation Partner of the Yearaward celebrates an education partner that has gone above and beyond to help their students succeed in 2018/19.

“The ΢ҕl’s Business School is a great example of this. The school has been instrumental in advancing career prospects for its students by creating opportunities to interact with the corporate world.”

Tim Winfield from the ΢ҕl Business School said he’s extremely proud to receive the award.

MYOB not only provides invaluable real-life business experience to our students, they also value the education of the next generation of business leaders – encouraging students to succeed in all that they do now and in the future.”

Students from the ΢ҕl have been involved in the MYOB IT Challenge hosted by the ΢ҕl Centre for Entrepreneurship since 2016, and have attended the tech company’s Incite conferences. Members of the MYOB leadership team also guest lecture at the Business School – with CEO Tim Reed sharing his experience leading MYOB through a rapid period of change over the last 10 years earlier this year.
