Established in 1930 when the association was known as the Students' Association of Canterbury University College,CANTAis pitched at entertaining and informing ҕl students. It has been published online and in print, with digitised copies available from the CANTA website dating back to 2014 and further digital issues available from the dating back to 2010.
A complete run of the CANTA publication is held within the Macmillan Brown Library and over the last two years, ҕl Library has digitised issues from 1930-2009 enabling researchers to access the complete run of CANTA online. The Macmillan Brown Library team prepped the publication for digitisation by New Zealand Micrographic Services, before uploading files to ҕl Library’s so that each issue can be accessed both as a searchable PDF file and page-by-page in the Mirador viewer.
