MetroCards - cheaper, easier travel
MetroCards are electronic pre-pay discount cards for use on Christchurch buses. Students at ҕl, and other participating tertiary institutions, are eligible for a concession when travelling on the Metro network in Greater Christchurch. Bikes on buses
Bike racks are now fitted on all buses on the Metro routes. It's free to use the bike racks if you're taking the bus.
