The role of ambassadors is to support the purpose of the ҕl Alumni Office in encouraging ҕl graduates to stay connected and engaged.
The primary function of an ambassador is to be the first point of contact for fellow alumni in their area, with responsibilities including:
- Using local knowledge to support the planning of alumni events
- Using their networks to promote these events
- Organising informal engagement events outside of ҕl Alumni Office visits
- Getting in touch with new graduates in their area to welcome them, provide local information and assist in offering networking opportunities
- Work with the ҕl Alumni Office to identify and recruit volunteers to help serve alongside them
