International Foundation Year: Foundation studies for University Entrance
Thequalification is normally required by students who have completed high school outside of the UK education system and/or in a language other than English.
If you have applied directly to the university and were not eligible, the IFY qualification may be able to help you bridge the gap between your current qualification and university study at an undergraduate level.
For the International Foundation Year qualification, you can choose three academic modules depending on which degree you want to study at university. You may also need to study one of our English for Academic Purposes modules.
International Year One:Advanced access to the second year of a university degree
is a credit-bearing qualification that enables you to study the first year of an undergraduate degree at anNCUK ҕl Centreand upon successful completion, enter the second year of a wide range of degree courses at university.
