Taiwhanga Manatū Ahu Matua is located on the ground floor of the Ernest Rutherford Building. This facility operates under very strict guidelines to allow some soil and water samples to be transported from overseas for research using a permit process.
Any plans to import samples to this Transitional Facility must be discussed well in advance with the Facility Operators, Cathy Higgins and Sarah Pope.
