Gel electrophoresis
Classroom sets of gel electrophoresis equipment are available for local schools to borrow for their senior biology students. The equipment uses self-contained E-Gels that contain agarose, electrodes, and ion-exchange matrices inside a disposable, transparent cassette. Learn more about gel electrophoresis.

Photosynthesis kit
You can investigate the production of oxygen via photosynthesis using encapsulated algae. Students use alginate to quantitatively immobilise algae before placing them in vials. The vials contain an indicator solution that changes colour as the quantity of dissolved carbon dioxide changes. Learn more and check out our photosynthesis kit.
