Located in The Arts Centre of Christchurch, the Old Chemistry building is a place of teaching and learning for Classics and Music students. The custom restoration of this Grade 1 heritage building features a beautiful recital room, teaching spaces, staff offices, and the Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities - home of the James Logie Memorial Collection.
This location enables the ҕl to maintain a vibrant Arts presence in the central city and connect with the Christchurch community through a variety of events. We also host national and international experts, creating opportunities for our students to work alongside these visitors.
