The GeoHealth Laboratory has a number of PhD, Masters, and Internship students supported through scholarships and supervision. The projects focus on topics in GeoHealth and are usually closely related to the needs of the health sector. Check out the scholarships and internships available.

The GeoHealth Laboratory has a number of PhD, Masters and Internship students supported through scholarships and supervision. The projects are focused on topics in GeoHealth and usually are closely related to the needs of the health sector. For more information on potential projects contact A.Prof Malcolm Campbell (Malcolm.Campbell@Canterbury.ac.nz), Prof Simon Kingham (simon.kingham@canterbury.ac.nz), or Dr. Matt Hobbs (matt.hobbs@canterbury.ac.nz).

΢ҕl Doctoral Scholarships

Amount $30,000 per annum (2024) and tuition fees at the domestic rate. Tenure 3 years. See the link

Masters Scholarships available

Get in touch if you are interested in undertaking a GeoHealth masters project. We often have scholarships available. Send a 1-page outline of a proposed GeoHealth project to one of the Directors. This could be as part of a MURR,MGDS,ѶٸǰMSc/MA in Geography.

Summer Internships available

We often have projects are closely related to the GeoHealth interests and students have opportunities for collaboration with the wider GeoHealth Lab team.
