Newcomers Group

The University wants to make you and your family feel welcome to the campus and its community. A group of volunteers closely associated to the University host the Newcomers Group. They meet for coffee mornings, walks or drinks at the University’s Staff Club. It is a great way to meet new and retired staff, partners and children.

The group consists mainly of partners/family of our academic staff. You are welcome to come for a coffee, walk or drinks and these lovely people will help to make you feel at home in your new city, without any obligation on your part.

University Staff Club

�ճ���� (΢��ҕ�lC) is a friendly and welcoming social club located across the road from the ΢��ҕ�l at the iconic and beautiful Ilam Homestead.

Membership is open to all current and retired ΢��ҕ�l staff, postgraduate students, ΢��ҕ�l Alumni, Erskine visitors and people associated with the ΢��ҕ�l however, you are welcome to visit ΢��ҕ�lC as a guest before you join.

Citizens Advice Bureau

(CAB) offers information and support for migrants about settling into New Zealand. CAB has a walk-in settlement information service and offers workshops and seminars for recent migrants.
