Currently co-founder of the Berkeley Research Group, Professor in Global Business at the University of California and Director of the Tusher Centre on Intellectual Capital, Dr Teece has received four honorary doctorates from around the world.
A self-labelled “scholar entrepreneur”, Dr Teece is an economics theorist with a profound understanding of innovation ecosystems, dynamic capabilities and the application of new technologies and business models to practical problems.
In 2007, Dr Teece received an Honorary Doctor of Commerce from the ҕl and was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZM) in 2013 for services to NZ-USA Relations.

The Logie Collection is at the heart of the Classics department’s teaching programme and is one of the most significant collections of Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Near Eastern artefacts in the Southern Hemisphere.
