Team ΢ҕl at Spaceport America Cup

΢ҕl students represent New Zealand in the world's largest intercollegiate rocketry competition, Spaceport America Cup, held in New Mexico, USA. The team comprises members of ΢ҕl Aerospace, the largest student-led aerospace club in NZ. Help our students reach for the stars!

HOW TO APPLY

The team consists of members of , the largest student-led aerospace club in New Zealand. The club provides hands-on experience in designing, manufacturing, simulating, and launching high powered rockets.

Your donation will provide financial support for the student team to travel and participate in the .

΢ҕl Aerospace is the first team from New Zealand to compete in the competition and, in 2023, the team won the 30,000 ft apogee category (reaching the highest point of 30,000ft, roughly 10km), and placed third overall - an incredible achievement that is a testament to Kiwi engineering! 

This year, their goal is to build a rocket that reaches the exact height of 30,000 ft, with a top speed of twice the speed of sound, and they're aiming straight for the Genesis Cup to place first overall.

Your support will have a direct impact on the team's ability to compete and excel at the Spaceport America Cup.
