Background
Julie has studied science, worked in finance, converted to political science and taught at university for twenty years (including lecturing at ҕl for twelve). Along the way, she lived in three US states and four countries, collected a Fulbright scholarship and ҕl award for excellence in teaching, worked as a freelance web writer, and in 2015 became a Learning Advisor at ҕl.
It’s all about deep curiosity, which is why she thrives on the opportunity to work with students from across the campus, around the world, and at all levels of study. There’s always something new to learn, and new and interesting problems to tackle.
