Qualifications
Research Interests
My main research interests are Antarctic international cooperation, international relations, geopolitics, governance, and environmental policies. In the past, I focused my attention on the interaction of Asian countries in Antarctica.
Currently, I am Research and Project Development Manager for the Council of National Antarctic Programs (COMNAP), where I undertake research and implement research projects and collect data and information in relation to the range of COMNAP programs and topics.
I lead the development of research opportunities in regards to understanding national Antarctic program activities and needs, and create efficiencies through COMNAP in regards to regional science support and operational activities.
I interpret the results of research related to environmental policies, especially in regards to Antarctic impacts and activities, and recommend and advice national Antarctic programs in regards to operational policies and practices.
Additionally, I assist the Executive Secretary in preparation for meetings and events, especially of the COMNAP Annual General Meetings and for the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meetings.
