Vicky has a passion for data and weaving compelling narratives from data insights. With 15 years' experience working in the transport sector, she works as an Associate Modelling Advisor at Beca. She has worked on a range of planning and modelling projects, with hands-on experience designing, building and reviewing data and transport models. She has also engaged closely with clients through various alliances and secondments, providing advice from short-term operational to long-term strategic planning.
With an educational background in operations research and applied data science, Vicky is skilled in optimisation, predictive modelling and geospatial analysis. As a data scientist, she has led projects spanning from the banking to retail sectors, deriving insights from both structured and unstructured data. Having worked with large datasets from telecommunications company and regional councils, she is experienced in building scalable algorithms and designing pipelines.
